Lorenz Verpoorten (born October 5, 1986) grew up in Alken and became a lawyer in 2010. Since 2015, he lives with his family in Kermt, where he also has a local secondary office.

Within the partnership, he assists small and big companies, independent entrepreneurs and practitioners of liberal professions in Dutch, English and French cases.

​

Lorenz is specialised in everything related to contractual law, commercial disputes, corporate law, construction law, real estate, garnishment and public procurement.

​

​He has experience with clients coming out of different industries, such as (but not limited to) the construction industry, the metal industry, retail business, agriculture and real estate, which helps him understand the needs of a company.

​

He sinks his teeth into his clients’ business which he wants to know through and through. He is convinced that with this industry knowledge, he will also be able to better approach and solve their legal problems.

​

He graduated in 2010 form the KULeuven, obtaining a cum laude Master of Laws degree. In Leuven, he specialised in economic and civil law.

​

In 2016, Lorenz obtained a certificate for his training as syndic for the management of real estate and in 2018, he obtained a special certificate for his training as a trustee in bankruptcy.

​

Lorenz has authored several contributions to client newsletters and professional magazines.

​

In his spare time he enjoys trips or having a bite with his family in the neighbourhood. He is a car enthusiast, who also enjoys tennis and football.
